Texans' D'Onta Foreman will cut into Lamar Miller's work
Houston Texans running back D'Onta Foreman should cut into Lamar Miller's workload, the Houston Chronicle expects.
The Texans want to reduce Miller's carries after injuries faded his stretch run last year. Foreman doesn't project for standalone value, but should be an upgrade on Alfred Blue as Houston’s second back.
Foreman racked up 2,774 rushing yards on 431 carries (6.44 yards per carry) and 20 touchdowns over his three-year college career, but only saw 13 receptions in that span. He's a solid get for a Houston backfield that finished with the eighth-worst schedule-adjusted Offensive Rushing Net Expected Points in the NFL last season.
