Kareem Hunt tweaks ankle in Chiefs' second preseason game
Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt "tweaked" his ankle in Saturday's preseason game, but head coach Andy Reid said he's "fine."
Hunt was seen getting taped up after his final touch, but it didn't have the looks of a serious issue. Reid's words confirm as much. He was the star of the show against the Cincinnati Bengals, earning eight touches for 61 yards in just the first quarter. He finished with eight rushes for 40 yards and three catches for 23, a performance that should put some heat on starter Spencer Ware.
numberFire's metrics currently project Hunt for 343 rushing yards and 2.93 touchdowns on 90 carries, as well as 35 catches for 270 receiving yards and 1.40 touchdowns. That's the 47th-best running back projection for fantasy this year in our models.
