C.J. Prosise (groin) will not play on Friday for Seattle
Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise (groin) will not play in Friday's third preseason game, versus the Kansas City Chiefs, per Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.
Prosise hurt his groin the pregame warmups last Friday but is considered day-to-day after an MRI revealed no damage. For what it's worth, the coaching staff told reporters that if Friday were a regular season game, the second-year back would play. Prosise remains penciled in as the Seahawks' third-down and passing down tailback for 2017.
Our models see Prosise gaining 562.4 total yards with 3.6 touchdowns on 93.5 touches this season. Expect those numbers to rise if Eddie Lacy and/or Thomas Rawls miss any time.
