Thomas Rawls (ankle) won't play in Seahawks' preseason game on Friday
Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls (ankle) will not play in Friday's preseason game versus the Kansas City Chiefs, per John Boyle of Seahawks.com.
Head coach Pete Carroll insists the injury to Rawls is not serious, and if Friday were a regular season game, Rawls would be likely playing. With C.J. Prosise sitting out Friday as well, seventh-round rookie Chris Carson will get an extended run behind starter Eddie Lacy versus the Chiefs.
Our models project Rawls as the third-most productive back in the Seahawks' backfield, behind Eddie Lacy and Prosise, with 551.0 total yards and 4.3 touchdowns in 2017. He is our RB50 in fantasy leagues.
