Graham Gano to kick for Panthers in Week 1, barring a trade
Carolina Panthers kicker Graham Gano will kick against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, barring a trade, per Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer.
The Panthers elected to keep two kickers, Gano and Harrison Butker, and are trying to trade one of them. If they are unable to move one of them by Sunday, general manager Marty Hurney confirmed Gano would take all the extra point and field goal attempts against the 49ers.
numberFire's algorithms project Gano as the 3rd-best kicker for Week 1 with 9.0 FanDuel points while costing $4,700 on Sunday.
