Patriots' Danny Amendola week-to-week with concussion
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola has been diagnosed with a concussion and is week to week.
Amendola was quickly ruled out of Thursday's opener after being placed in the concussion protocol early in the fourth quarter. This is nothing new for the 31-year-old veteran, who has a lengthy history of concussions in his career, but it puts his status in doubt for Week 2 against the Saints in New Orleans. Before going down, Amendola led the Patriots with 6-of-7 catches for 100 yards, so his absence could lead to fantasy relevance for Phillip Dorsett.
Amendola finished with 8.67 Reception Net Expected Points on Thursday night, per numberFire Live.
