Philip Rivers throws 3 touchdowns in Chargers' loss
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers completed 22-of-33 passes for 192 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception in Monday night's 24-21 Week 1 loss to the Denver Broncos.
Rivers was quiet for most of the night, but he was able to salvage his fantasy outing with a pair of scores in the fourth while trying to force overtime after trailing by 17. Things should be a bit easier in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins.
numberFire's models projected Rivers for 14.2 FanDuel points in Week 1, but he exceeded expectations by scoring 18.7 in the loss. He's our QB12 for Week 2 and is expected to score 17.42 FanDuel points at a cost of $7,000.
