Panthers' Greg Olsen (foot) to miss 6-8 weeks after surgery
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen will miss 6-8 weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a broken foot, reports ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
This matches up with an earlier report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Monday. Olsen will return this season, but fantasy owners without an IR spot might not be able to wait it out. Ed Dickson will take over as the Panthers' starting tight end until Olsen is back on the field.
Olsen has 3 catches for 28 yards on 6 targets this season.
