Matt Forte (toe) likely out Sunday for Jets
New York Jets running back Matt Forte is week-to-week and likely out for Sunday's game, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Forte left Sunday's game with a toe injury and, although X-rays came back negative, is probably going to miss this week's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jets have added Travis Cadet to backup Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire until Forte's healthy enough to return.
As a part of the Jets' running-back-by-committee, Forte was only projected for 7.9 attempts, 32.9 yards and 0.19 touchdowns before the injury. Expect to see his share of the carries split between Powell and McGuire.
