Jets' Matt Forte diagnosed with turf toe
New York Jets running back Matt Forte is dealing with a case of turf toe.
Forte is looking like a long shot to start Sunday. He noted that the turf toe is not as bad as the time he had it as a rookie in 2008, but he also said that it could take some time to fully heal. Right now it looks like Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire will share running back duties in Week 4.
Because of the injury, our models currently project Forte for 491.8 rushing yards on 111.1 attempts, with 2.2 touchdowns remaining this season.
