Samaje Perine will get 'majority of carries' this week for Washington
Washington Redskins running back Samaje Perine is set to get the "majority of carries" in Week 6, according to head coach Jay Gruden.
With Rob Kelley (ankle) a long shot to suit up this week, Perine and Chris Thompson will be the Redskins' primary backs against the San Francisco 49ers. However, Thompson won't see much of an -- if any -- uptick in touches. Instead, Perine will see the bulk of early down work, especially if the Redskins get up early and kill the clock in the second half.
With Kelley not yet ruled out, we project Perine to tally 24.4 rushing yards, 0.21 touchdowns and 5.5 FanDuel points on 5.3 carries. He costs $4,900 in this week's matchup.
