Raiders' Marshawn Lynch has one-game suspension upheld, to miss Week 8
On Tuesday, the NFL upheld the one-game suspension of Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch, and he will not play in Week 8, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
During Thursday's game, Lynch left the bench area during an on-field scuffle and shoved an official. The NFL cited unsportsmanlike conduct as the reasoning for the suspension. Unfortunately for Lynch, bringing in Marcus Peters to support his case wasn't enough. Jalen Richard and Deandre Washington figure to split carries against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Lynch will return for Week 9's matchup with the Miami Dolphins.
Through 7 games, Lynch has rushed for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns on 72 attempts. He's averaging 6.3 FanDuel points per game and has maxed out at 11.8 FanDuel points in Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens.
