Chris Hogan (shoulder) out 'a few weeks' for Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan (shoulder) does not need surgery and will miss just "a few weeks," reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Patriots are on bye this week, so it's at least in the realm of possibility that Hogan is able to return in Week 10 against the Denver Broncos without missing any games. He caught 5 passes on 7 targets for 60 yards on Sunday before exiting with a shoulder injury.
In eight games this season, Hogan has 33 catches for 438 yards and 5 touchdowns on 54 targets. If he can avoid missing any games, numberFire's models project him for 57.8 targets, 34.6 receptions, 504.8 yards, and 4.05 touchdowns over the remainder of the year.
