Giants suspend Janoris Jenkins indefinitely
New York Giants defensive back Janoris Jenkins has been suspended indefinitely, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Jenkins will not play against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 9 and it remains to be seen what happens after that. He was apparently tardy in returning to the team after the Giants' Week 8 bye. Jared Goff gains some streaming appeal with Jenkins out on Sunday.
In six games this season, Jenkins has 24 tackles (2 solo) with 6 pass deflections, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble, and 1 defensive touchdown. As a unit, the Giants rank 19th in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points allowed per play.
