Dolphins confirm backfield to be a committee moving forward
Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said the running game will be handled "by committee" following the trade of Jay Ajayi to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kenyan Drake is expected to be in more of a lead role for the Dolphins while Williams handles passing-game duties, but it figures to be a fluid situation that lacks significant fantasy value for either running back. Miami hosts the Oakland Raiders on Sunday Night Football in Week 9.
Drake is the RB33 in numberFire's weekly fantasy rankings and we expect him to score 6.2 FanDuel points at a cost of $4,500 in Week 9. Williams checks in just behind as our RB35, but is the slightly superior DFS play with a projected output of 6.7 FanDuel points at the same price tag.
