Tom Savage to start Week 9 for Texans following Deshaun Watson's (ACL) injury
Houston Texans quarterback Tom Savage will start in Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts after Deshaun Watson tore his ACL at Thursday's practice.
Savage's return under center for the Texans means a downgrade for the fantasy outlooks of DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, Lamar Miller, and any other skill players on Houston's roster. A fourth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Savage has proven to be incapable of moving a professional offense down the football field.
numberFire's models project Savage to complete 17.1-of-29.8 passes for 200.5 yards with 1.16 touchdown passes and 0.7 interceptions versus the Colts. He's our 19th-ranked fantasy quarterback in a week that has six teams on bye.
