Buccaneers' Mike Evans suspended one game for unnecessary roughness
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been suspended one game for violating the league's unnecessary roughness rules.
Evans blindsided New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore after a play in Week 9's loss, and while he wasn't ejected from the game, he is set to watch from the sidelines as the Bucs take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 10. Evans does have the option to appeal the suspension.
Evans only managed 1 receptions for 13 yards on Sunday, bringing him to 40 receptions, 532 yards and 4 touchdowns on the year.
