Ezekiel Elliott's appeal hearing set for December 1, will miss at least 4 games for Dallas
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has had his expedited appeal hearing set for December 1 by the 2nd District Court, per Kate Hairopoulos of the Dallas Morning News.
After having his motion for a temporary injunction denied on Thursday, Elliott will be forced to fulfill his suspension starting in Week 10. With the hearing set for December 1, the running back will have no other recourse until then, meaning he will not be eligible to play in the next four games (Weeks 10-13). Even when his appeal is heard, it would be a stretch for his case to be tried and ruled on before Week 14 (December 10). It appears the back and forth of the saga has been resolved, for at least the next four games. If his suspension is wholly served, Elliott will be able to play on December 24 versus the Seattle Seahawks in Week 16.
Elliott has rushed for 783 yards and 7 touchdowns while adding 210 yards and 2 socreds through the air for 19.9 FanDuel points per game through 8 games.
