Samaje Perine taking over Washington's lead back role with Rob Kelley out
Washington Redskins running back Samaje Perine will take over the lead back role with Rob Kelley out for the season.
Perine will take over the early-down work with Chris Thompson handling the passing downs and as a change of pace. Coach Jay Gruden is eager to see more production out of Perine as the rookie is averaging just 3.2 yards per carry.
Our models project Perine for 50.9 total yards for 9.3 FanDuel points in a tough matchup with the New Orleans Saints in Week 11.
