Carson Wentz (ACL) could reportedly be out 9-12 months for Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz will undergo ACL surgery "within a couple days," and Dr. James Andrews expects him to be out 9-12 months, reports ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
Mortensen says Dr. Andrews hasn't spoken with Wentz directly but this would mean it's possible the quarterback isn't ready by the start of next season. Nick Foles has taken over under center for the Eagles, who face the New York Giants on the road in Week 15.
Wentz averaged 22.2 FanDuel points per game this season, with 265-of-440 completions for 3,296 passing yards, with 33 touchdowns and 7 interceptions, while adding 299 rushing yards on the ground.
