Chiefs prefer Charcandrick West to Knile Davis
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid prefers running back Charcandrick West over Knile Davis as a replacement to Jamaal Charles, according to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report.
With Charles out for the season, the starting running back role with the Chiefs has major fantasy implications. West had eight touches in Week 5 compared to two for Davis.
West added 0.48 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) on his seven carries in Week 5. Davis toted the rock 134 times last year and finished 41st in Rushing NEP per play out of 43 running backs with at least 100 carries. The Chiefs will face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. The Vikings entered their Week-5 bye ranked 27th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play.
