Chargers' Hunter Henry tears ACL, likely out for 2018 season
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry suffered a torn ACL during OTAs on Tuesday and is expected to miss the entire 2018 season.
Devasting blow for Henry and the Chargers as the 23-year-old tight end was poised for a breakout season as Antonio Gates was not re-signed. However, now with Henry out, expect Gates to return for another season with Phillip Rivers and Co. Henry will be getting a second opinion to confirm the injury on Wednesday.
Henry caught 45 passes for 579 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2017.
