Dolphins unsure of Mike Gesicki's role to start the season
Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki has looked lost in OTAs and his role at the start of the season is in question, according to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald.
Gesicki was arguably the most athletic tight end prospect coming out of college this season, but during OTAs, he has struggled to block and has seemed lost out on the field. He has been running with the backups so far, behind veterans A.J. Derby and MarQueis Gray. He will need to improve all-around if he is going to start the season as the Fins' TE1.
Our models project Gesicki for 67.0 targets, 40.4 catches, 440.3 yards, and 2.9 touchdowns in 2018.
