Rex Burkhead to be 'focal point' for Patriots
New England Patriots running back Rex Burkhead (knee) will be an offensive "focal point" this season, writes Jeff Howe of The Athletic.
Burkhead has been limited by a minor tear in his knee, but Howe says the Patriots are simply being "overcautious" with someone he expects to play a major role this season.
numberFire's models currently project Burkhead to rush 103.3 times for 527.6 yards and 6.02 touchdowns, as well as catch 43.6 passes for 364.5 yards and 2.99 touchdowns. He's the RB23 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
