Jordan Reed expected to play for Washington in opener
Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is "on pace" to play Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals, head coach Jay Gruden confirmed Monday.
Reed was held out of the entire preseason as Washington made the oft-injured tight end's health a priority. He played only six games last season, half as many as the year before.
Operating under the assumption he plays 16 games, numberFire's models project Reed to catch 67.3 passes (90.7 targets) for 602.4 yards and 4.97 touchdowns in 2018. He's the TE10 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
