3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 2/9/17
Nashville Predators
Players to target: Filip Forsberg, Ryan Johansen, and James Neal
This should be one of the higher-owned lines, but DFS owners should not be turned off because there are so many games on the slate. This will be an expensive line, but one that comes with a bunch of upside.
They will face a Rangers team that allows well over 5 high danger shots per game, and a line this talented should be able to convert some of those chances.
Not only do they have incredible possession numbers -- posting 70.9 Corsi For per 60 minutes and a 59.3 Corsi For Percentage -- but they'll all also see minutes on the first power play with Roman Josi, who would make a great addition to this stack.
Forsberg, Johansen and Neal will avoid the Rangers' best possession line centered by Mika Zibanejad and will get to face New York's second and third lines, centered by Derek Stepan and J.T. Miller. Neither line is particularly strong in puck possession (48.9 and 45.4 Corsi For Percentages) and even with Henrik Lundqvist in net, the top line for the Nashville Predators is one of Thursday's best plays.
