Players to target: Patrick Marleau, Logan Couture, and Brent Burns

Couture and Marleau have been great together despite having less-than-ideal left wings playing with them.

With Mikkel Boedker on their line, they have accumulated 70 Corsi For per 60 minutes with 11 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes. As far as the matchup against the Florida Panthers goes, they should spend most of their ice time against Aleksander Barkov's line, which has struggled since the return of Jonathan Huberdeau. They are allowing 55.8 Corsi Against per 60 minutes and a whopping 12.4 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes.

While Florida's penalty kill is rock solid at 84.2 percent, Marleau and Couture will play on the top power play unit with Brent Burns, who is just two points behind Connor McDavid for the league lead.

Any duo that gets to play with him has a great chance of getting assists, along with rebounds and deflections in front of the net because of the amount of shots he takes. Line matchup data tells us Marleau and Couture will avoid the Vincent Trocheck line (the team's best possession line), making them an even better stack.
