3 Daily Fantasy Hockey Stacks for 3/14/17
Edmonton Oilers
Players to target: Patrick Maroon, Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Oscar Klefbom
The Edmonton Oilers will take on the Dallas Stars tonight in what looks to be a great matchup for McDavid and his line. The Stars have struggled defensively all year, giving up the third most shot attempts per 60 minutes (60.6) at even-strength. They haven't been any better on special teams, either, with a league-worst 74.1% penalty kill percentage.
The Oilers' top line should see a lot of Dallas' top line of Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, and Jason Spezza, who are very talented offensively but also allow a lot of shots and scoring chances (61.4 Corsi Against per 60 Minutes, 10.1 Scoring Chances Against per 60). McDavid's line is a solid possession unit at 58.1 Corsi For per 60 minutes and 11.75 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes, and they all get time on the power play.
Klefbom will quarterback the first power-play unit for Edmonton, and he makes for one of the top defensemen on the night as he should see roughly 23 minutes of ice time, most of which will likely come with McDavid at his side.
