The shutdown line for the Washington Capitals gets an excellent matchup against the John Tavares line, which is one of the worst defensive lines in the NHL, allowing near 35 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes and 13.8 High-Danger Chances Against per 60 minutes. The Backstrom line has a 55.4 Corsi For Percentage and near 30 Scoring Chances For per 60 minutes.

This line just combined for seven points last night against this same New York Islanders team, so they have already had success in a similar matchup. With all these guys getting power-play time, they have a lot of upside on FanDuel against the league's 29th-ranked penalty-kill.
