Staal, Versteeg, and Hanifin play together on the Hurricanes' first power play unit, and Staal and Versteeg are linemates on the first line at even strength as well.

The Hurricanes are against the Flyers tonight who, while only ranking in the middle of the pack in goals against, still make for an exploitable daily fantasy matchup, allowing the fourth-highest Corsi Against per game. Flyers goalie Michal Neuvirth hasn’t been playing his best hockey lately either and has given up three goals in 5 of his last 10 starts, with a .914 save percentage over that stretch.

Staal and Versteeg lead the Hurricanes in even strength relative Corsi For, even strength Corsi For percentage and Corsi For per 60. Hanifin's scoring hasn't been great this year, but he is fifth on the team in average power play time on ice and has points in three of his last five games while sitting near minimum salary.
