NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Friday 10/5/18
A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?
It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.
To help, let's take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.
Goalie to Target
Sergei Bobrovsky ($9,000): The Columbus Blue Jackets are modest favorites (-145 moneyline) against the Carolina Hurricanes. Bobrovsky was given the night off on Thursday night as Joonas Korpisalobackstopped an overtime victory. The Columbus goalie looks to rebound off a bad ending from last season, when he allowed three or more goals in his final eight starts. There are a few other options -- like Jonathan Quick and even Martin Jones (higher risk) -- but there will be more clarity on the slate's goalies once the other starters are confirmed. As of Friday morning, Bobrovsky was indeed confirmed so that makes a decision easier given there is one early game and one late contest.
