NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Tuesday 10/9/18
A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?
It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.
To help, let's take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.
Goalie to Target
Connor Hellebuyck ($8,600): The Winnipeg Jets are huge favorites (-200 on the moneyline) against the Los Angeles Kings. Hellebuyck has faced 77 shots in two games so far, so there is definitely potential that he may face 30-plus shots again. Winnipeg was incredible at home last year, scoring over 3.8 goals per game, which gives the goalie a margin for error. The Winnipeg goaltender is priced more for a cash play than a GPP play, but his upside makes him worth a look in all formats. There are a few other options -- like whomever starts for Carolina (low priced), and Aaron Dell and Philipp Grubauer (higher risk) -- but there will be more clarity on the slate's goalies once the other starters are confirmed. As of Tuesday morning, Hellebuyck is only projected and not yet confirmed starting.
