NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Wednesday 10/10/18
A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?
It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.
To help, let's take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.
Goalie to Target
John Gibson ($8,300): The Anaheim Ducks are solid favorites (-165 on the moneyline) against the Arizona Coyotes. Gibson has faced 95 shots in 3 games so far, so there is definitely potential that he may face 30-plus shots again. Anaheim yielded fewer shots against the Detroit Red Wings but still allowed 15-plus High-Danger chances. The Anaheim goaltender is priced more for a cash play than a GPP play, but his upside makes him worth a look in all formats. There are a few other options -- like whomever starts for Ottawa (low-priced), and Braden Holtby -- but there will be more clarity on the slate's goalies once the other starters are confirmed. As of Wednesday morning, Gibson was not confirmed yet as a starter.
