3 NHL FanDuel Values to Target on 10/30/19

Joonas Donskoi is playing on the Colorado Avalanche's top line and is a fantastic bargain. What other value players are options on this six-game slate?

If you follow the NHL, you already know all of the top players. Obviously, when playing DFS, these players will come at a high cost. In this article, we are looking to find the cheaper value plays to help you afford the superstars.

Christian Dvorak, Center, Arizona Coyotes

FanDuel Price: $4,000

The Arizona Coyotes have a 52.36 Corsi For Percentage (CF%) which ranks seventh overall in the NHL, so they are a team that definitely controls possession at a very good rate. The Coyotes rank 17th in the NHL averaging 3.00 goals for, per game, an area that they do struggle with.

Christian Dvorak is centering the top line with two great players on his wing in Clayton Keller and Phil Kessel. In addition, he plays on the top power-play unit with these two so there is plenty of upside for him and this line as they have full-game correlation.

Joonas Donskoi, Winger, Colorado Avalanche

FanDuel Price: $4,000

We have a line promotion here for not only Joonas Donskoi but Nazem Kadri as well. The two are joining Nathan MacKinnon on the Colorado Avalanche's top line as they will be without Mikko Rantanen and captain Gabriel Landeskog. Donskoi can benefit greatly from playing with these two and comes in at a very cheap price.

Further adding to his upside, he will play on the top power-play unit with these two, along with Tyson Jost and Cale Makar. The Florida Panthers have allowed 3.75 goals against per game which is the third-worst mark in the NHL.

Mathew Dumba, Defense, Minnesota Wild

FanDuel Price: $4,300

Mathew Dumba is the top overall points-per-dollar play on this slate, as per our projections — and frankly, it's not close. The Minnesota Wild are on the tail-end of a back-to-back which is not ideal, however, this is still a way-to-cheap price for Dumba.

He plays on the second power-play unit and takes on the St. Louis Blues who's penalty kill sits in the middle-of-the-pack. Dumba has averaged about two shots per game and one block per game as well as 0.5 real-life points per game. He has immense upside and although the Wild aren't a good team, the price for his upside is tough to ignore.
