Spending lower in any daily fantasy lineup is a way to incorporate some diversity into your roster. In NHL DFS, there is typically more value in this strategy but also a good deal more risk. This is especially true on tonight's slate, where there are lots of lower-salaried plays. Plugging in these options will afford you more chances to play some studs, as well.

Friday night has two more playoff games. So, what values can we find?

Adam Lowry, Center, Winnipeg Jets

FanDuel Salary: $3,400

Adam Lowry has become too much of a value for his own good, and yet the Winnipeg Jets' center still has this low of a salary.

The forward will now move up because of the Mark Scheifele suspension, which should mean quite a few opportunities. Montreal is not the most stout defensively, and their 23rd-ranked penalty kill should give Lowry a chance or two. Lowry has a goal and two assists in his last three games with five shots and four blocked shots in that span.

Elsewhere, Tyson Jost ($3,900) is prominently in the middle-six for Colorado and producing well the last couple of games.

Cole Caufield, Wing, Montreal Canadiens

FanDuel Salary: $3,300

Cole Caufield leads the young brigade of forwards for the Canadiens against Winnipeg.

He had an assist and one shot on goal in Game 1. He did have two scoring chances and hit the outside of the post in the first period. There also was another goal that was disallowed.

Caufield generates a ton of speed against a Winnipeg defense that was not quite ready for it on Wednesday night. The Montreal power play suddenly has been given new life. That is where Caufield has had some of his most dangerous chances of late.

Reilly Smith ($4,400) scored a goal in Game 1 for Vegas against the Avalanche and may be starting to get going for the Knights' second line.

Josh Morrissey, Defenseman, Winnipeg Jets

FanDuel Salary: $4,200

Josh Morrissey had an assist and blocked shot in Game 1 versus Montreal. He may see more chances in Game 2.

The Winnipeg defenseman missed on all three of his shot attempts. It just seemed that Morrissey was a little bit off. He did have a few scoring chances, though, and his assist was a prime one.

There is considerable value at the defender position on this slate. Joel Edmundson ($3,600) is an interesting play at a near-minimum salary. Ryan Graves ($4,200) offers a good blocked-shots floor and can provide a little bit of offense, too.
