3 NHL FanDuel Value Plays to Target on Wednesday 5/11/22

Spending lower in any daily fantasy lineup is a way to incorporate some diversity into your roster. In NHL DFS, there is typically more value in this strategy but also a good deal of risk, too. The right low-salary plays can give you good production while affording you more chances to roster high-salary studs.

Wednesday night comes at us with three contests. Let's see what value can be found.

Filip Chytil, Center, New York Rangers

FanDuel Salary: $3,900

While Lars Eller and Mikael Backlund can be considered safer choices, taking a roll of the dice on Filip Chytil is worth a look.

The floor may not be the greatest but "Coach Gallant" has no margin for error now. Playing the kids more cannot hurt.

With little else working, Chytil did have three scoring chances in the Game 4 loss at Pittsburgh.

As we mentioned, the New York Rangers' center is a reasonable middle-six option on Wednesday night.

Trevor Lewis, Wing, Calgary Flames

FanDuel Salary: $3,700

Now, Trevor Lewis did it again on Monday night. Let's go for a three-peat on Wednesday night in Calgary?

The winger played 16+ minutes in Game 4 and chipped in with a helper, three shots on goal, a blocked shot, and four scoring chances.

Lewis played a two-way game suited perfectly for any Darryl Sutter coached team.

The Flames' depth needs to continue to play a key role in sustaining pressure against Jake Oettinger and the Dallas Stars.

He possesses the ability to create space and that means scoring chances and more.

K'Andre Miller, Defenseman, New York Rangers

FanDuel Salary: $3,700

The danger is to play the youth here but K'Andre Miller is a worthwhile target.

Now, at home, Miller chipped in a couple of helpers along with nine shots on goal and ten scoring chances in two games.

The defender is gradually seeing increased ice time as well. Aside from the triple-overtime game, the blueliner has played more than 20 minutes in every other game during Round 1.

Miller can be a defensive liability, especially against the Sidney Crosby line but the offense is worth going for it all here on Wednesday night.
