League of Legends Daily Fantasy Helper: LCS, 7/11/20

I have you covered with a detailed but straightforward primer to get you all set up, whether you're a DFS player looking to dig into the new sport, or a League of Legends fan ready to take your action over to FanDuel.

The LCS Summer Split is officially here, and the official schedule is here, which will show you each week they will have two games on Fridays, four on Saturdays, and four on Sundays. All matches are a single game, not a best-of-three series. This slate locks on Saturday, July 11th at 4 p.m. EST.

Cloud9 versus Team SoloMid

The classic NA LCS rivalry will have another chapter added to it, and it should be among the best games we see all day. If you are unfamiliar with the NA LCS, Cloud9-TSM is essentially the New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox.

Cloud9 are the best team in the NA LCS and have been dating back to the Spring Split, so we see them come in as the favorites in this game. Their players are more expensive but also are among the absolute best players in the league. Vulcan ($8,000), Zven ($10,300), and Nisqy ($9,200) have the three best Kill/Death/Assist (KDA) ratios in the entire league. Blaber ($9,000) isn't far behind, with the 6th-best KDA, while Licorice ($8,900) has the 14th-best KDA. They are all elite and viable for a Cloud9 stack on this or any slate.

TSM are a solid team that has a high ceiling but can often be inconsistent. If you want to stack TSM, look to Bjergsen ($8,000) and Doublelift ($8,800), who are their best players. Both Broke Blade ($7,500) and Biofrost ($7,200) would make good additions to this stack, which should almost certainly be less popular due to their tough matchup.

Golden Guardians versus Evil Geniuses

Evil Geniuses have been up and down in the Summer Split, unable to find consistency after a 2-0 start. Golden Guardians are seemingly always right on the edge of being a playoff team and can't push past that. Ultimately, EG should win this series, but the Golden Guardians do have some fight in them.

Bang ($9,200) and Zeyzal ($7,500) are a good pairing in the bot lane and should be the starting point for any EG stack. You can look to add Mid-Laner Jiizuke ($8,300), who has a much higher ceiling than he has recently shown -- only five kills in his last three games, compared to 14 kills in his first three games.

If your goal is to aim for a less popular stacking option, going with the Golden Guardians could be the answer. FBI ($8,400), Damonte ($7,400), and Closer ($7,100) could make a really nice three-man stack considering they all have Kill Participation (KP) Rates sitting at 66% or higher.

Team Liquid versus Counter Logic Gaming

Team Liquid (6-2) are the better team in this matchup, but don't write-off CLG (4-4) just yet.

Team Liquid are on a three-game winning streak, but all of those games could've gone either way. They won against FlyQuest, despite having fewer kills. Their record is slightly inflated based on recent results that have been super close. Tactical ($9,600), Jensen ($8,600), and CoreJJ ($7,600) would be the players to start a stack from Team Liquid, and all have KDAs in the top 17 of the league. Adding Broxah ($8,300) to this isn't a bad idea. It comes down to how committed to one team you want to be in your lineups.

For CLG, Stixxay ($8,900) continues to be their best player, and if you are going to stack them, he has to be in it. This isn't up for debate. He has four kills or more in six of the eight games this split.

Wiggily ($7,800) has been showing up in a big way for CLG in the jungle and comes in with the seventh-highest (75%) KP Rate among all players in the LCS. If CLG end up winning this game, he will likely play a large part in it.

Smoothie ($7,300) isn't the flashiest player out there, but he has picked up eight assists or more in five of their eight games so far, along with three deaths or fewer in seven of the eight.

FlyQuest versus Dignitas

I wrote about both of these teams for the Friday LCS slate, so let's go over them quickly.

FlyQuest are a strong team (better than their record indicates) and are heavy favorites in this series. Stack PowerOfEvil ($8,900), MasH ($10,000), and Santorin ($8,600) as the core three players, then mix and match a fourth if you want. FlyQuest should roll over Dignitas in this series and make a great last-game hammer.

Dignitas, on the other hand, are horrible, and you shouldn't be looking to stack them in any capacity.
