Billy Hamilton, OF, Cincinnati Reds

Position Rank: 12th

Current ADP: 52.36

Let's not beat around the bush here -- the only reason why Billy Hamilton is going off the board as the 12th outfielder is because he can single-handedly win the stolen base category during any given week. But that's really all he does.

While he made tremendous strides in the on-base percentage department last year -- which could lead to an increase in runs scored -- is it really enough to take him this early?

That obviously depends on the scoring structure of your fantasy league, but it shouldn't be when considering the usual scoring. Nobody can steal bases like him, but grabbing a 20-homer bat can help win the other four categories.

The list of outfielders going after him, according to NFBC, is rather staggering. Guys like Ian Desmond (54.00), Christian Yelich (56.94), Yoenis Cespedes (59.16) and even Mark Trumbo (69.40) can run circles -- not literally -- around Hamilton in every category except stolen bases, which would make them all more valuable fantasy commodities than him over the course of an entire season.
