Charlie Blackmon, OF, Colorado Rockies

Price: $4,500

On the other hand, the Rockies will go up against Nationals right-hander Jacob Turner, who posted a 5.13 SIERA in 18 games last year and owns only a 4.57 SIERA and 14.7% strikeout rate over his career. That poor 2016 campaign saw him allow a 37.5% hard-hit rate with only a 9.4% soft-hit rate against left-handed hitters.

In such an ideal spot, lefty Charlie Blackmon is our top-projected hitter on the slate.

Hitting leadoff for the Rockies all but ensures him a hefty number of at-bats with the offense so well-positioned, and with a .382 wOBA to open the season after posting a .394 wOBA last year, he should really take advantage of that. He's also in an especially good spot against Turner since he's blasted right-handed pitching for a 38.7% hard-hit rate and a 40.9% fly-ball rate in 2016, giving him a ton of power upside in the thin Coors air.
