If you need one word to describe Jake Arrieta's season, it may very well be... meh.

The Arizona Diamondbacks can be had for strikeouts and have just a 3.59 implied team total, and yet it's hard to muster much excitement in rostering Arrieta, even on this limited pitching slate. A 4.15 SIERA, 22.8% strikeout rate and 28.1% hard-hit rate is fine, but doesn't exactly get the DFS blood pumping. Worse yet, since the start of June, the punchout rate has dropped to just 18.8% over his last 10 starts.

Given the dearth of options, you can hardly be blamed if you choose to go this route, as he's unlikely to throw a total clunker, but Keuchel and Godley are the stronger plays.
