The Arizona Diamondbacks are in a great spot tonight, holding a solid 4.15 implied total against struggling southpaw Wei-Yin Chen.

Chen has seen his numbers fall off in a big way over the last two seasons. His 4.61 SIERA in 2017 was a career-worst, but he is on pace to finish far worse in 2018, with a 5.37 over 11 games. His 10.4% walk rate is a career-high, and his 15.6% strikeout rate is a career-low.

Nick Ahmed has looked really good against southpaws in 2018, turning a 42.2% hard-hit rate, 10.9% soft-hit rate and 39.1% fly-ball rate into a .378 wOBA and .273 ISO, and he should have no issues producing against Chen tonight.
