Mike Trout is not a guy who needs the favorable platoon matchup that Stanton does. He has made 292 plate appearances against righties this year, notching a .445 wOBA and .308 ISO on a 46.5% hard-hit rate. Production like that is nothing new for Trout, who also posted a .450 wOBA and .359 ISO against right-handers in 2017.

Tonight's spot is an especially good one for Trout, too. The Los Angeles Angels' 5.40 implied total is Friday's second-highest mark, and Baltimore righty David Hess has an awful 5.58 SIERA over his first eight Major League appearances.

Because of that, Trout comes in as our models' fourth-highest projected hitter on Friday's slate.
