Unlike the Royals, the Arizona Diamondbacks haven't fared so well over the last 30 days, with their 64 wRC+ ranking second-worst over that span, ahead of only the lowly San Francisco Giants. They've also struck out 24.9% of the time over this stretch.

With both Carlos Carrasco and Walker Buehler likely to garner a good chunk of ownership in plus matchups, if you're looking for a pivot in tournaments, Cole Hamels is worth consideration against these Diamondbacks.

Since joining the Chicago Cubs, Hamels has seen new life, posting a 1.57 ERA, 3.11 FIP, 24.6% strikeout rate, and 8.5% walk rate. Hamels' strikeout numbers may not compare to those of Carrasco or Buehler, but he's still shown a nice ceiling this season, and could post a big score against an offense that might be fading down the stretch.
