Cody Bellinger, OF, Los Angeles Dodgers

Despite being one of the hottest hitters in baseball, Cody Bellinger could be in a tough spot tonight, with a matchup against St. Louis Cardinals ace Jack Flaherty looming.

In his rookie season, Flaherty stymied lefty hitters to the tune of a .275 wOBA, 26.8% strikeout rate, and a .310 slugging percentage. So far this season, he's built on that great resume, recording a .306 wOBA and 26.3% strikeout rate.

Bellinger has definitely been in beast mode in 2019, but as the most expensive batter on the board, it could be worth pivoting down to some other options.
