Colby Rasmus has experienced massive splits this season, totaling eight home runs and a .193 ISO against righties while being essentially useless versus lefties.

Tonight he’ll face righty Matt Andriese, who isn’t as good as his surface numbers indicate. Despite a 4-0 record and a 2.52 ERA, Andriese’s 4.07 xFIP tells a different story.

He only strikes out 5.72 batters per nine, and his .261 BABIP doesn’t match up with his 36.4 percent hard hit rate allowed to left-handed batters.

Andriese will blow up soon, and if it’s tonight, Rasmus will be the primary beneficiary.
