Nick Castellanos scratched Thursday for Tigers with toe injury
Detroit Tigers right fielder Nick Castellanos was scratched from the starting lineup Thursday afternoon versus the Cleveland Indians due to a right toe injury.
The cause of the injury is unknown. It's Castellanos' first absence this season. Niko Goodrum is covering right field and John Hicks is on first base while Grayson Greiner starts behind the plate.
Castellanos is batting .255/.340/.383 with a .723 OPS while recording 2 RBI and 7 runs scored across 53 plate appearances.
