Mariners' Kyle Lewis scratched Sunday; Mike Ford to start
The Seattle Mariners scratched Kyle Lewis from their lineup for Sunday's game against the Houston Astros.
Lewis was initially listed as the team's designated hitter for Sunday's game, but was scratched shortly after the initial lineup came out. Mike Ford will start at designated hitter instead.
The Mariners are still easing Lewis back into the lineup as he works his way back from his knee injury, but he has started the season off strong, batting .267 with a .979 OPS over 16 plate appearances. He's hit 2 home runs with 3 runs and 3 RBI.
