Kody Clemens called up, on first Friday for Phillies
Philadelphia Phillies infielder/outfielder Kody Clemens is in the starting lineup versus right-hander Hunter Greene and the Cincinnati Reds in Friday afternoon's series opener.

The Phillies recalled Clemens from the minors to replace Darick Hall (thumb surgery) on the active roster. He will start on first base and bat eighth in Friday's matinee. Clemens slashed .145/.197/.308 over 127 plate appearances for the Detroit Tigers last season in his first taste of the majors.
