Orioles reportedly acquire Shintaro Fujinami in trade with Athletics
The Baltimore Orioles have acquired pitcher Shintaro Fujinami in a deal with the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday.
After 34 appearances with Oakland, Fujinami will play for his second Major League team in his rookie season. Expect the 29-year old to have a bullpen role with the Orioles.
In 49.1 innings this season, Fujinami has produced a 5.35 expected Fielding Independent Pitching rating, a 12.5% swinging strike percentage, and a 22.1% K-rate.
