Mark Canha sitting for Tigers early game Thursday
Detroit Tigers outfielder Mark Canha is not in the lineup for the first game of Thursday's doubleheader versus right-hander Adrian Houser and the New York Mets.
Canha is out of the lineup for the first time this season, but he will likely return for the second game of the doubleheader. Riley Greene and Matt Vierling will occupy the corner outfield spots for Detroit in the early outing. Greene will bat cleanup and Vierling will hit fifth. Kerry Carpenter will start at designated hitter and bat third.
Greene has a $7,500 salary on the single-game slate Thursday and numberFire's models project him for 10.4 FanDuel points. Vierling ($5,000) is projected for 9.2 FanDuel points.
